I have so many plans for this blog…some Photoshop tutorials and projects. Sigh, I’ve just been too busy! I’ve been working on a new design set that has taken me longer to illustrate than I thought. So instead of a stunning Photoshop tutorial, I decided to post a few beautiful rooms today. Mostly because I need it (if you saw the state of my house, you’d know why!) and because you like looking at pretty stuff too, don’t you?
So here are my pretty room picks of the day! I’m going bright, sophisticated, and smart! These are mostly from the Deco Files at Domino. If you click on the photo, it will take you to the original source.
Hmm…very, very orange, but SO clean. I could never do this, but I really like looking.
How cute is this spice rack? Individual cubbies, so sweet!

The infusion of lemon yellow with white…in love!
I HEART this chair!
Can I just have the door? Just the door, please. (Okay, if you gave me everything else I’d take it too).
This is the most darling kids bedroom!
Hope you were a bit inspired by all the happy colors! I’m gearing up for Favorite 5 Friday (tomorrow’s post)!
I am with you on the door! I have too have the windows too!
When we moved in to our condo, one of the bedrooms was painted bright orange like that except the trim was lime green. It took about a thousand coats of primer before we could paint over it. I like how it is in the room you posted though–I just didn’t want it for my baby’s room.
I would love photoshop tutorials. I can never learn enough – it’s so fun to play around with!
Loving the person who had the guts to paint the orange. I can see them sitting in their chair, sipping tea in a cute cup, and smiling just looking at it. ha!
I love beautiful room day!
Here’s my only beef: How come when I try to do a plain white vibe it looks bland, but when professionally photographed it pops?! Granted, I left out the pop of yellow and used a more subdued green… but still!
