Easter Birdie Nests—Kid Edible Project

We made these edible easter nests that Siri is obsessed with it. I guarantee they’ll be a hit with your kids too! Plus they are easy!

Add a peep birdie for extra sweetness!

All you need is:

Chow Mein Crunch Noodles

Chocolate Chips (We like milk—it’s naughtier)

Shredded Sweetened Coconut (optional…I like it, the kids don’t)

jelly bean eggs or whopper eggs

Peeps chicks

Heat up a pan and melt the chocolate chips. Add the chow mein noodles and mix gently. I usually heap half into spoonfuls on a plate or tray and then mix the coconut in for the rest. Let your kids add the eggs and peeps. Easy Peasy!

  1. These are adorable! I am not usually into cute, especially when it comes to food, but this I would do. Is this your creation or did you find it someplace? What a great idea!

  2. Hey Carina! Just checking out your site. I love this idea. For a little bit of a healthier twist, you can sub Fiber One cereal for the chow mein noodles. The kids will never know the difference. (just don’t let them eat too many!)
